Cooking with love, made simple

Sprig exists to make three things easy for everyone: eating well, shopping for it without the guesswork, and cooking for the people you love. Everything here is plant-based, and everything here is meant to be genuinely doable on a weeknight.

Eating well shouldn't be a chore

Most people already know they should eat more plants. What stops them isn't willpower — it's the daily friction of deciding what to make, on a Tuesday, when they're tired. We'd rather remove the friction than repeat the advice.

Shopping shouldn't be guesswork

Pick your recipes for the week, set how many you're feeding, and Sprig writes one shopping list — combined across every recipe, grouped the way the shop is actually laid out. No scribbled notes, no forgotten tin of chickpeas, no second trip.

Cooking is an act of love

A meal is one of the most ordinary ways there is to care for someone. We build every recipe as a step-by-step cook-along with timers, so a beginner can put a good dinner on the table for the people they love — and feel capable doing it.

Why we say “with love”

It isn’t a slogan. The idea that a simple meal shared in love beats an extravagant one served without it is older than any of us — and it happens to describe a bowl of vegetables rather well.

“A bowl of vegetables with someone you love is better than steak with someone you hate.”
Proverbs 15:17 (NLT)

That conviction shapes what we build. It is why the grocery list is the feature we care about most, why the cook-alongs assume you are learning rather than performing, and why we would rather you cook one good meal for someone than scroll past fifty you never make.

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
1 John 4:7 (NLT)
Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay.
1 Peter 4:8–9 (NLT)
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.
1 Corinthians 13:4 (NLT)

Everyone is welcome at this table

You do not have to share our faith to cook with us. Accessible to all means exactly that — whoever you are, whatever you believe, and whether this is your thousandth vegan meal or your first, there is a place for you here.
