    Blend the queso

    For the queso, blend the cashews, water, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, smoked paprika, turmeric and salt until completely smooth.

    Warm the beans

    Warm the black beans with the cumin and smoked paprika.

    Build the tray

    Spread the chips on a large tray or plate. Scatter over the beans and drizzle generously with the queso.

    Load the toppings

    Top with salsa, avocado, jalapeños, green onions and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.

Notes

The most shareable and flexible of the set. Pile high for a crowd, or keep it lighter with more veg and less queso. Bake briefly if you like the chips warm. Extra beans and queso push the protein up.
